· All electrical work is to NICEIC standards, and is Part P** certified
· NICEIC compliance certificate is issued on completion
· All work is has a 12 month parts and labour guarantee
· There are four Electrical Options to choose from consisting of power points, lighting, professional office trunking and consumer unit (fuse box) installation.
· Wiring is carried out once the log cabin has been fully assembled.
· Wiring option does not include connection of the Log Cabin to the house mains supply. This service can be provided by our electrical team but will require a pre-order electrical survey, priced at £79. As there are a number of potential variables to be considered it is impossible to give a set price for mains supply connection. Therefore our electricians MUST survey every potential site to assess the work involved. Survey price of £79 is discounted from the price of connection once an order is placed.
*NICEIC – National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors.
**Part P of the latest Building regulations now defines certain areas to be ‘special areas’ for the purposes of electrical wiring. Outside areas are classed as a special area and as such any electrical work must now be carried out by a Part P certified electrician. Failure to adhere to this could potentially invalidate insurance (for example if an electrical fire was to occur)
